Chandigarh, a developing model

Hotels in Panchkula
The divide between the northern and southern parts of India is quite glaring and has often been a subject of humor besides the usual regionalist divides. Each region has cities that are truly its own, and the same holds true for the western and eastern part of our country as well. In the north, for instance, one city that truly depicts its essence is the city of Chandigarh. A union territory, it is the twin capital of the states of Punjab and Haryana and at present, one of the most progressive and developed city of India.

Business in various sectors has come largely to Chandigarh over the last few years. Being the first planned city of the country, it is also seen as the ideal location for hosting the meetings, conferences etc. Hence, many hotels with Conference Halls in Chandigarh can be found. A lot of times, these are hotels near Chandigarh railway station in order to accord the ease f travelling to the various participants of the meeting that includes the executives, officers, staff et al of the various multinational firms and corporate.

Though many people, including the officers at a higher rank would prefer to fly to the city, but many opt for trains as well. The railway station at Chandigarh is a neat, well maintained place, breaking the stereotype of a railway station as being unkempt and dirty.

With the growth of the city, the need for having hotels with conference halls in Chandigarh and also for hotels near Chandigarh railway station and the city airport have sprung up tremendously, thereby providing the city with more employment and development opportunities simultaneously. The growth of this capital of two states is certainly something to look forward to.
